We have partnered with a prestigious health insurance company that is looking for experienced Pharmacy Prior Authorization Technicians to join their team. This is a remote opportunity for candidates within Buffalo, Rochester... Syracuse, and Utica areas!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
ย Conducting medication prior authorizations
ย Researching and reviewing prescription and medical benefit coverage
ย Entering requests into the computer system
ย Communicating with pharmacists, providers, and members
ย Providing phone coverage for incoming calls
ย Other related duties as assigned
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with an 8-hour shift between 8:00AM-5:00PM. Occasional, rotating on-call weekend hours required.
Duration: Temp indefinite, requesting minimum commitment of 12 months.
Pay Rate: $19.25/HR plus excellent benefits available for our temporary employees
