As a remote team member, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and contribute to empowering kids aged 3-18 to learn on their own terms. As a tutor on our platform, you will have the opportunity to: • Connect with our extensive network of 1.5M+ all-time enrolled learners • Set your own prices and schedule as an Independent Contractor (IC) • Offer small online group classes, 1-1 virtual instruction, and/or create self-paced offerings • Enjoy a low administrative burden, as Outschool makes it easy to teach online • Benefit from a simple online application process to get started To be a successful tutor on Outschool, you should: • Be at least 18 years old • Reside full-time in one of the eligible countries (US, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, or the UK) • Have the ability to receive PayPal payments • Have expertise or passion in personal finance that you can base your classes around • Meet our community standards, including prompt, professional communication with families and the Outschool team • Observe our class content policy, including the requirement that Outschool classes are secular and objective • Have a reliable and fast Internet connection (over 3Mbps upload and download) • Have the technical know-how to effectively run online classes • Have a good command of written and spoken English • Verify your identity and pass a criminal background check About Outschool: Our mission is to inspire kids to love learning by linking education to their interests, connecting them with like-minded classmates, and giving them the autonomy to choose their own paths.
