Job Overview: Life Insurance Agent
We're seeking a self-motivated and driven Life Insurance Agent to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As a Life Insurance Agent, you'll have the flexibility to work from home and create a schedule that suits your lifestyle. Whether you're looking to build an agency, focus on being a career producer, or explore our wholesale model, we have a path that's perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize our exclusive warm lead program to connect with clients who have requested protection plan information
- Gather pertinent information from clients to customize their protection plans, ensuring a tailored fit for their individual needs
- Follow up with clients within one to two days to review results, either in person, over the phone, or virtually
- Consult with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert guidance
- Assist clients in the e-application process, ensuring a seamless experience
- Contact carriers to check on the status of applications and stay updated on the progress
- Follow up with clients on carrier decisions, providing timely updates and support
Essential Qualifications:
- U.S. legal resident
- Willingness to obtain a state life and health insurance license (we provide training and support)
- Proficiency in using a phone, laptop or desktop computer, and printer
- Ability to virtually attend weekly meetings, including sales training, mentorship, and business building sessions (occasional in-person meetings may be required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly in life insurance
- Existing state life and health insurance license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and discipline to work independently in a remote setting
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using technology, including virtual meeting tools and insurance software
