Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Remote Financial Data Entry Assistant to accurately input, manage, and maintain financial records and data in our systems. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality. This role is fully remote and requires excellent organizational and time-management skills. Key Responsibilities: β’ Accurately enter and update financial data (invoices, receipts, expenses, payroll, accounts payable/receivable) into company databases or accounting software. β’ Verify accuracy of financial records and correct errors when identified. β’ Maintain digital financial files, spreadsheets, and documentation. β’ Assist with reconciliation of accounts and preparation of basic financial reports. β’ Communicate with finance or accounting teams to clarify discrepancies. β’ Ensure compliance with company data security and confidentiality policies. β’ Meet established deadlines for data entry tasks. Qualifications: β’ High school diploma or equivalent (Associateβs degree or accounting coursework preferred). β’ Prior experience in data entry, accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related role is a plus. β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). β’ Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. β’ Good organizational and time management abilities. β’ Ability to work independently in a remote environment. β’ Strong communication skills.
