Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CareSource is a healthcare organization seeking a Team Lead for their Information Technology department. The role involves executing project components, supervising IT team members, and collaborating with other business areas to enhance system functionality and efficiency. Responsibilities β’ Execute tactical components to achieve deliverables set by department manager, to include but not limited to components of projects from design through implementation β’ Perform supervision and support of IT team members β’ Supervise, mentor and coach staff, and ensure appropriate staff training β’ Prioritize team activities based upon IT leadership priorities and bandwidth β’ Represent IT in project/business meetings and engagements β’ Lead projects from inception/design through implementation, providing technical guidance, training and work direction β’ Improve solution functionality and efficiency with added business value β’ Collaborate closely with other business areas to optimize the use of systems and applications β’ Collaborate with the department manager to systematically evaluate currently deployed services; develop and manage plans to optimize delivery and support mechanism β’ Apply creative thinking in problem solving and identifying opportunities for improvement β’ Provide subject matter expertise for technical guidance, training and direction β’ Provide direction, lead and review of work products and daily tasks for quality β’ Provide feedback on deliverables to staff on a timely basis β’ Assist department manager to leverage staff to develop new programs and systems in relation to assigned responsibilities β’ Establish and maintain professional working relationships between IT and its customers β’ Perform any other job duties as requested Skills β’ Minimum of three (3) years of systems management and analysis experience is required β’ Strong analytical, evaluative and problem solving abilities β’ Critical listening and thinking skills β’ Strong learning competency and ability to teach others β’ Solid project planning and management abilities β’ Technical programming, analysis and specification skills β’ Network protocols and security standards (may require) β’ Application development tools methodologies (e.g. Agile) and Enterprise architecture (e.g. TOGAF) (may require) β’ Advanced system configuration skills β’ Proficient in Microsoft technologies (infrastructure or application development) β’ Excellent written and oral communication skills β’ Effective organization and prioritization skills β’ Three (3) or more years of experience within IT leadership is preferred β’ Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications is preferred β’ Project planning and project management experience is preferred β’ Technical teaching skills or experience is preferred β’ Knowledge of the healthcare and managed care philosophy is preferred β’ ITIL, MCD, MCSE, CCNE, CISSP, or other Infrastructure, Development, or IT Management specific certifications are a plus Education Requirements β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is required Benefits β’ You may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance. β’ Substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
