Job Description
A physical therapist licensed in North Carolina is sought to provide dedicated 1:1 telehealth services within a school setting. The position involves working with one student who requires full-time mobility support and utilizes a wheelchair. Services will concentrate on mobility, positioning, and access through remote sessions.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy through 100% teletherapy methods.
- Focus on enhancing mobility, positioning, and access tailored to the student's needs.
- Coordinate closely with school staff to ensure consistent communication and effective support.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Physical Therapy license.
- Experience delivering pediatric physical therapy services, preferably via telehealth.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with school personnel and caregivers.
- Ability to create a flexible weekly schedule accommodating 30 minutes to 1 hour per week.
- Position Details:
- Contract role supporting the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 17, 2026, through May 13, 2027.
- Remote work based from Lillington, NC, with full teletherapy delivery.
