Corestaff Services is seeking a Museum IT Project Coordinator for a one-year engagement with one of their premier clients starting in January 2026. The primary objective of this role is to successfully manage the transition from Voyager to a new Integrated Library System (ILS), ensuring effective communication and coordination among Museum departments, IT, and the ILS vendor. Responsibilities β€’ Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for the implementation of a new ILS. β€’ Coordinate communications and meetings between Museum departments, IT, and the ILS vendor. β€’ Schedule timelines, lead meetings, track tasks, and manage project milestones. β€’ Prepare technical manuals, guides, and other documentation related to the ILS transition. β€’ Ensure staff have access to necessary training and resources to support the new system. β€’ Provide regular progress reports and updates to project stakeholders. β€’ Collaborate with other project managers to align the ILS transition with concurrent initiatives, including those supporting the new Permanent Exhibit. β€’ Coordinate integration efforts with related systems (Aeon, OpenText Media Management, Illumin, ArchivesSpace, EMu). β€’ Maintain a high standard of customer service when addressing questions, issues, and technical challenges. Skills β€’ 3-5 Years of demonstrated experience managing projects involving integrated library systems (ILS) or similar technical systems in a museum, library, or archival setting. β€’ Experience preparing documentation and training materials for system implementations. β€’ Familiarity with library and archival workflows, particularly cataloging and metadata management. β€’ Basic technical knowledge to understand and support staff requirements for cataloging and research systems. β€’ Strong organizational and project management skills with experience scheduling, running meetings, and managing timelines. β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with vendors. β€’ Knowledge of related systems (Aeon, OpenText, Illumin, ArchivesSpace, EMu) Education Requirements β€’ Master’s in Library Science (MLS or MLIS) Company Overview β€’ Corestaff recruits and staffs essential operational support positions, from the production floor to the executive suite.
