Role Description First Stop Health is seeking a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach who is experienced, detail oriented and has a passion for health and wellness. In this role, you will provide high quality well-being coaching to help patients positively impact their overall health, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to clinical operations. You will report directly to the Director of Health Coaching. β’ 25-30 direct service hours per week β’ 7-10 hours non-clinical work to support engagement and the broader Coaching Team including: β’ Enthusiasm to partake in internal training and supervision β’ Content creation and delivery for customer requests such as webinars and speaking engagements β’ Support implementation of new products/technology β’ Ensure outcome collection and analysis β’ Prioritize whole-person care by collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams β’ Maintain and improve processes by following standards, policies and procedures, and recommending new approaches β’ Stay informed on coaching best practices, mental health related research, news stories and the competitive landscape Qualifications β’ Bachelorβs degree and are NBC-HWC certified β’ Preference for 5+ years of experience β’ Demonstrate coaching confidence with strong core coaching skills to co-create health related SMART goals and develop and implement effective strategies to reach those goals β’ Good understanding of behavior change theories and know how to successfully implement them with individuals and groups β’ Fervor for cultural curiosity and experience engaging and working with people across a wide range of social, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds β’ Self-starter β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills β’ Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytic skills β’ Flexible and eager to learn new skills β’ Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment β’ Fluency in basic computer skills including Microsoft 365 and EHR systems Requirements β’ You will work with patients both face-to-face (15% travel to onsite locations) and virtually/telephonically (85% remote from home).
