Key Responsibilities – What Your Day Will Look Like Deliver Small‑Group Instruction: Facilitate engaging, evidence‑based reading/ELA and math lessons for K‑8 students using the company‑provided curriculum and the gradual release model. Design Differentiated Lesson Plans: Tailor each session to the unique skill levels and learning goals of the group, incorporating data from pre‑ and post‑assessments. Maintain a Safe Learning Environment: Supervise students at all times, manage transitions between learning stations, and escort children safely to and from designated areas. Data Management & Reporting: Enter attendance, assessment scores, progress notes, and compliance documentation into the district’s learning management system in a timely manner. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Communicate regularly with classroom teachers, school principals, parents, and FullBloom supervisors to ensure alignment on student goals and progress. Parent Engagement: Schedule and lead conference calls or virtual meetings to discuss student growth, address concerns, and share actionable strategies for continued improvement. Professional Development & Planning: Participate in paid training sessions, contribute to curriculum refinement, and allocate time each week for lesson planning and reflective practice. Additional Duties as Needed: Assist with school events, contribute to team meetings, and support other instructional initiatives as directed by leadership. Essential Qualifications – The Foundation of Your Success Education: Associate degree minimum; Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field preferred. Licensure/Certification: Valid teaching certificate or licensure preferred but not mandatory; candidates with a strong teaching background may be considered. Experience: Demonstrated experience in classroom teaching, tutoring, or internship settings; experience with small‑group intervention is a plus. Subject Mastery: Ability to teach both reading/ELA and mathematics across multiple grade levels (K‑8). Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and video‑conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Physical Requirements: Ability to climb stairs, lift light instructional materials (up to 20 lbs), and maintain a calm, attentive presence throughout each session.
