Description This position requires an ACTIVE security clearance. This position can be performed remote from anywhere, but may require up to 15% travel. As a skilled and dynamic Cyber Security Specialist, you will support the U.S. Army's energy and water use metering program. The total solution is considered a system-of-systems with developed applications integrating with the Army enterprise cloud and data environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures and securing required authorizations and certifications. Typically, the Cyber Security Specialist will perform the following duties (and others, not listed): β’ Create and manage cybersecurity documentation. β’ Initiate and develop System Security Plans using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS). β’ Initiate and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) for client systems; manages the process through assessment and authorization. β’ Maintain Army Portfolio Management System (APMS) records for all client IT systems. β’ Manage security systems and analyze potential threats and vulnerabilities to client systems. β’ Provide expert level security analysis services for product, system, and network architecture designs. β’ Analyze Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scan results and reports and develop and document mitigations and remediation for open findings. β’ Conduct annual FISMA reporting requirements for all IT systems β’ Develop and maintain plans of action and milestones for all client systems. β’ Process and obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) certifications for tactical systems. β’ Develop and maintain all Assess and Authorize artifacts for multiple systems and facilitate the processing of ATO documentation. β’ Define and resolve 'information ownership' issues and identify levels of access to the system's user population. β’ Advise management on systems investigation processes and resolve computer security incidents. β’ Propose and conduct research of new security technologies. β’ Prioritize multiple high-visibility projects and coordinate resources. β’ Develop, implement, execute, and maintain Program Protection Plans and processes for electronic tactical grounds systems. β’ Adhere to Information Systems Security policies, procedures, practices, and system user groups. β’ Develop and maintain Security Classification Guides, Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters, Program Protection Plans, System Security Plans, and Technology Assessment and Control Plans. #qf #qg Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates MUST meet and/or exceed each of the following requirements: β’ Possess 5 or more years related professional experience β’ Possess 3 or more years of experience in Army, DoD, or IC at the Headquarters, Department of the Army, or major command level (e.g., ARCYBER, NETCOM, 7th Signal Command, Program Executive Office), AND/OR in industry implementing similar solutions. β’ Active US Government Clearance at Secret level or higher. β’ Ability to work independently and in an agile, collaborative team environment. β’ Effective written and verbal communications skills for collaboration with both customers and fellow team members. β’ Ability to sit for extended periods of time and regularly lift at least 25 pounds. β’ Ability to commute to the designated onsite work location as required.
