Applications Functional Analyst / Business Anlayst Location: Remote Duration: 12+ months Required Qualifications: β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in a complex systems environment. β’ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with human services or social services applications, preferably within public sector eligibility or benefits systems. β’ Prior project experience with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs is required, including familiarity with program policy, eligibility rules, and operational workflows. β’ Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions and communicate effectively with both audiences. β’ Solid understanding of system functional design and how integrated components interact within eligibility and case management systems. β’ Experience conducting requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation using structured methodologies and tools. β’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex processes and data to drive decisions. β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor communication style to the audience (technical teams, leadership, or program staff). β’ Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work products in a dynamic environment. β’ General IT knowledge and understanding of SDLC phases including requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation.
