Job Description Key Responsibilities: β’ Strategic Leadership and Execution: β’ Align L&D initiatives with the company's strategic goals. β’ Implement the FARE process: Familiarize, Audit, Recommend, Execute. β’ Manage and oversee learning for new product or service launches, geographical expansions, and technology stack consolidations. β’ Build and staff a complete L&D function for new business units or projects. β’ Operational Flexibility: β’ Provide flexible L&D leadership to adapt quickly to changing market conditions. β’ Fill interim gaps in senior learning leadership positions. β’ Support organizations in creating or centralizing their L&D departments. β’ Cost Management: β’ Deliver cost-effective solutions by optimizing L&D investments and reducing the overhead associated with full-time positions. β’ Stakeholder Engagement: β’ Collaborate with C-suite executives, VPs, and Directors to integrate L&D efforts with broader business objectives. β’ Engage with various stakeholders to ensure L&D efforts are aligned and effective. Qualifications β’ Proven experience as a Chief Learning Officer (CLO), Vice President, or Director of Learning & Development. β’ Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution within the L&D space. β’ Strong background in managing large-scale projects and teams. β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. β’ Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a dynamic, project-oriented environment. Preferred Skills: β’ Experience in overseeing projects from conception to completion, including risk management and stakeholder communication. β’ Expertise in instructional design and the use of e-learning authoring tools compliant with SCORM standards. β’ Knowledge of current and emerging L&D technologies and methodologies.
