They are seeking a data-driven and fashion-savvy Market Research Analyst to support strategic planning and product development within the apparel industry by gathering and analyzing market intelligence to guide decisions. Responsibilities β€’ Conduct in-depth research on consumer demand, fabric preferences, style trends, and pricing expectations within large-scale apparel retail environments β€’ Collaborate with the product development team to create new categories or collections that align with market insights β€’ Support branding and marketing departments with research related to brand positioning, consumer feedback, influencer partnerships, and digital content trends β€’ Analyze internal sales data and market intelligence to generate actionable insights β€’ Monitor seasonal fashion cycles, competitor strategies, and global apparel trends β€’ Design and execute surveys, questionnaires, and user interviews to support deeper understanding of customer needs β€’ Compile insights and present findings in clear reports, charts, and visual summaries for key stakeholders β€’ Maintain and regularly update internal databases of trend, pricing, and consumer data Skills β€’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, fashion merchandising, business, economics, or data analytics) β€’ 2–5 years of experience in apparel market research, retail analytics, product strategy, or a related field β€’ Strong skills in data interpretation, market analysis, and consumer insight development β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills β€’ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment β€’ Interest in fashion, apparel retail, and consumer behavior β€’ Experience working with fashion retailers, department stores, or trend forecasting firms β€’ Familiarity with data and research platforms (e.g., Google Trends, NPD, Mintel, Similarweb) β€’ Basic understanding of fabrics, apparel construction, and fashion buying cycles β€’ Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or other analytics tools β€’ Exposure to influencer analysis, consumer segmentation, or brand monitoring β€’ Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, and the ability to contribute beyond assigned tasks β€’ Fluency in Chinese communication is preferred, but not required Benefits β€’ Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance β€’ Paid time off (PTO), Paid Holidays, and Paid Sick Leave β€’ 401(k) and employer matching β€’ Health Saving Account (HSA) Company Overview β€’ NIGHTSEA offers practical and economical solutions for viewing and photographing fluorescence at macro to micro-scale.
