Position: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Easter Associates, Inc. is a full-service association management and government relations company with offices in Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia. We are seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full-time Accountant (CPA) to support our non-profit trade association clients. The Accountant serves under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer. Experience β’ Active Virginia Certified Public Accountant license required β’ Quick Books experience is preferred β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Share Point β’ Excel knowledge is required β’ Database experience is preferred Interested candidates should send their resume and cover letter to Job Duties β’ Provide financial services and operational support for multiple non-profit trade associations β’ Bank deposits and reconciliations β’ Regulatory and tax filings β’ Reports and analyses β’ Assist outside CPA firm with audit and tax work β’ Present financials to association boards Skills Required β’ Manage multiple clients of varying industries and needs β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills β’ Prioritize, multi-task, and maintain attention to details Proactive and independent, while collaborating well with others β’ Successful background check Work Schedule The position is Hybrid, with offices in both Charlottesville and Richmond. Hours are 8:30-5, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend/overnight travel necessary.
