The Revenue and AR Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing financial operations by facilitating collections and ensuring timely processing of incoming payments, while maintaining strong relationships with partners. Responsibilities β€’ Lead the timely generation of invoices and account statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals and client expectations. β€’ Proactively monitor accounts receivable to identify and mitigate risks associated with outstanding balances, supporting healthy cash flow and minimizing financial exposure. β€’ Process payments and allocate cash properly. β€’ Perform account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. β€’ Cultivate and manage key client relationships, acting as a strategic financial liaison to accelerate collections and strengthen long-term partnerships. β€’ Partner with Site Leaders to develop and refine data capture processes, enabling efficient and accurate accounts receivable operations across the organization. β€’ Maintain accounts receivable files and records β€’ Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement β€’ Report on KPIs, compile data, prepare and distribute reports as requested β€’ Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of GAAP and maintain all records, logs and files to meet regulatory requirements and corporate policies β€’ Stay up to date with best practices, laws, and emerging trends Skills β€’ An associate’s degree in accounting, business, or related field and 2+ years of corporate accounting experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. β€’ 1+ years of AR experience is required. β€’ Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), QuickBooks, and web applications β€’ Typing proficiency (40+ wpm) β€’ Strong math proficiency β€’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail β€’ Well-developed written and verbal communication skills β€’ Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to work independently as well as with co-workers, subjects, managers, and external customers β€’ Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes in workloads and priorities β€’ Ability to be professional, respectful of others, self-motivated, and exemplify a strong work ethic. β€’ A high degree of integrity and dependability β€’ Ability to work under minimal supervision, identify problems and implement solutions β€’ Prior experience in clinical research companies is highly preferred.
