Day Wireless Systems is seeking a Pre-Sale Project Manager to oversee high-profile proposals and ensure alignment with company strategy. This role involves coordinating project efforts, managing subcontractors, and ensuring timely quote delivery and contract execution for Strategic Business customers. Responsibilities β€’ Own the full scope of each presales project; leading the information gathering from sales where necessary, to ensure that all project scope is addressed in the response and accurate exclusion list is developed. β€’ Analyze project blueprints and specifications to ensure precise quantity takeoffs and cost estimates. β€’ Collaborate closely with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints. β€’ Conduct due diligence to determine the best market value costs for materials, labor, and equipment. β€’ Solicit and evaluate competitive bids from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. β€’ Stay current with industry trends, construction methods, and materials costs. β€’ Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers (domestic and international) to obtain timely proposals and quotes. β€’ Update opportunities in NetSuite with presale data for tracking purposes. β€’ Lead communication and progress reporting during presales through NetSuite and Teams. β€’ Coordinate internal communications requirements for each proposal, including emails, calls, and meetings as needed. β€’ Generate detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses. β€’ Foster strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. β€’ Act as backup for SB account executives, ensuring consistent client communication and timely updates throughout project phases. β€’ Track the status of active proposals using Microsoft Planner Teams. β€’ Facilitate frequent follow-up and updates between clients and internal teams to ensure project progress and client satisfaction. β€’ Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancement. β€’ Perform administrative tasks as required to support project management and operational efficiency. β€’ Provide direction and support to project team members, ensuring alignment with company methodologies. β€’ Build, develop, and maintain vital business relationships for project success and future growth. β€’ Present and defend estimates to management and clients as necessary. β€’ Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise employees project team members. β€’ Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Skills β€’ Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry. β€’ Proficiency in construction estimating software and MS Office Suite. β€’ Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. β€’ Ability to conduct due diligence and determine best market value costs. β€’ Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships. β€’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. β€’ Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and construction practices. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. β€’ Experience in NetSuite, Paycom and Teams is a plus.
