A PayTech company operating a high-performance payment processing platform and currently seeking a CTO. By merging deep fintech expertise with a strong understanding of merchant needs, we create forward-thinking solutions that enable businesses to enter and grow in new markets. Our established product helps clients scale effectively while offering access to a broad range of domestic and global payment options. Tech Stack: PHP 8, Nginx, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, GitLabCI, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana Tools: Slack, Jira, Confluence, OpenVPN Key Responsibilities β€’ Define and execute the company’s technology vision aligned with business objectives. β€’ Lead and expand the engineering function: recruitment, mentoring, and process building. β€’ Guarantee platform scalability, resilience, and security. β€’ Introduce architectural improvements and drive technical innovation. β€’ Partner with product and commercial teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. β€’ Mitigate risks associated with high-load systems and high-risk fintech environments. β€’ Supervise software quality, CI/CD flows, monitoring systems, and incident response. Requirements: β€’ 7+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role (CTO / Head of Engineering / Tech Director). β€’ Background in fintech or high-risk verticals. β€’ Strong track record in designing and scaling high-load platforms. β€’ Hands-on experience with PHP, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS. β€’ Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, caching, and messaging systems (MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ). β€’ Experience managing CI/CD pipelines. β€’ Strategic decision-making skills balancing technical and business needs. β€’ Excellent leadership and people management abilities with a focus on culture. β€’ English: Upper-Intermediate or above.
