The CMMC Senior Consultant will lead and support client engagements, conduct assessments, and ensure quality deliverables while mentoring junior staff in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities β’ Conduct assessments from initiation to project closure β’ Monitor the progress of engagements and key project activity dates β’ Drive working sessions with clients to ensure expectations and direction are aligned and timelines are being met β’ Provide updates to Federal Practice Lead and managers β’ Build a customer-focused relationship with clients β’ Mediate or escalate complications as they may arise, relating to client or project execution β’ Review and develop work papers, drafts, and final reports with high attention to detail β’ Execute security assessments in accordance with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 1 and Level 2 Assessment Guide, and other authoritative IT security guidance β’ Validate information system security plans to ensure NIST control requirements are met β’ Develop Security Authorization Packages and ensure completeness and compliance with CMMC requirements and other authoritative IT security guidance β’ Collaborate across multiple internal teams to ensure successful delivery of results based on scope of work Skills β’ Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information security, computer science, or relevant discipline; or combination of relevant education and work experience β’ Minimum 3 years of experience in information security or compliance, with strong NIST 800-171 experience β’ Demonstrated knowledge of NIST publications, such as: NIST SP 800-30 rev 1, 800-37 rev 1 or 2, 800-53 rev 4, 800-53A rev 4, 800-60 Vol 1 & 2 rev 1, and 800-171 rev 1 β’ CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) or CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) β’ Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of motivation working in a fast-paced environment β’ Ability to lead multiple assessment engagements and train junior staff β’ Excellent communication skills to include the ability to explain technical matters to a non-technical audience β’ Broad IT background with technical understanding of networks, protocols, security configurations, cryptography, identity and access management, and the systems development life cycle β’ Master's degree is a plus β’ Experience with government compliance, including FISMA, FedRAMP, RMF, and CSF preferred β’ Experience as a consultant with a Big 4 or second tier consulting firm preferred β’ Familiarity with other Security Frameworks (ISO, COBIT, HIPAA/HITECH, etc.) and regulatory requirements is a plus β’ PMP is a plus Benefits β’ Healthcare, Dental, and Vision Benefits β’ Employer Paid Life Insurance and Disability Insurance β’ EAP - Employee Assistance Program β’ Pet Insurance β’ 401(k) Plan with Employer Matching β’ Competitive Bonus Structure β’ Home Office Reimbursement β’ Certification Reimbursement β’ Personalized Career Coaching β’ Generous Paid Time Off β’ Paid Office Closure December 25-January 1 β’ Vacation Bonus β’ Summer Hours Company Overview β’ A-LIGN is a security and compliance solutions provider.
