About the position The Strategy Analyst position at Nordstrom is a high-potential early-career role that supports critical research, analysis, and execution across enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. As a Strategy Analyst on the Enterprise Strategy team, you will support strategic planning efforts that shape the future of Nordstrom. You'll work alongside a collaborative team to help solve key business problems, conduct research and analysis, and support high-impact initiatives across our retail organization. Responsibilities • Assist in the execution of strategic projects across functions such as merchandising, marketing, operations, and supply chain • Conduct basic research and analysis to support strategic recommendations • Build and maintain Excel-based models to support decision-making • Support the preparation of presentations and deliverables for internal stakeholders • Track industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to inform recommendations • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to gather inputs and validate assumptions • Contribute to team problem-solving sessions and help synthesize findings Requirements • 0-2 years of professional experience in business analysis, consulting, or a corporate strategy function • Demonstrated interest in retail, consumer behavior, or business strategy • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn new tools quickly • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Curious mindset with willingness to learn and take initiative • Bachelor's degree required Benefits • Medical/Vision, Dental, Retirement and Paid Time Away • Life Insurance and Disability • Merchandise Discount and EAP Resources • 401k • PTO accruals • Holidays Apply tot his job
