They are seeking a Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, while also working with Kafka and cloud deployments. Responsibilities • Design & build scalable backend services in Java Spring Boot • Work with Kafka, microservices, and cloud deployments • Build REST APIs and integrate with external platforms (Google, Booking.com, Expedia) • Own features end-to-end: design → code → deploy → monitor Skills • Strong experience in Java + Spring Boot • Experience with PostgreSQL and database design • Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven systems • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/E2E/Wasabi S3) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) • Knowledge of OAuth2, authentication, and security best practices • Experience with API integrations • Caching (Redis) • Observability tools Company Overview • It was founded in undefined, and is headquartered in , with a workforce of 2-10 employees.
