- Facilitate engaging meetings with school and district leaders to review data and help them plan for success
- Model strategies and classroom lessons using effective teaching practices
- Provide coaching and support to help teachers develop and apply skills needed to become more effective math instructors
- Deliver professional learning to help teachers transform their practices
- Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree required
- At least 5 years of experience teaching math in a K-12 setting
- Experience delivering professional learning to educators - both in person and online
- Demonstrated strong ability to facilitate adult learners in coaching and planning situations
- Experience with ST Math a plus
- Technology Requirements: Consultants are required to provide and maintain their own computer or laptop with webcam and have reliable high speed Internet of at least 5Mbps Up and 5Mbps Down. Windows PC: OS: Windows 10 and later. Make sure your Windows Updates and drivers are up-to-date/current. Specs: Intel Dual-Core CPU 2.00 GHz or AMD processor 2.00 GHz or higher. 4 GB of RAM minimum recommended. Mac Computers: OS: MacOS 10.13 and later Specs: M1 chip or Intel CPU-based (2.00 GHz minimum) 4 GB of RAM minimum recommended.
