Role Description This role involves supporting all facets of global client billing, leveraging in-depth knowledge of industry best practices. β’ Support daily operational functions within the department. β’ Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business problems and define solution requirements. β’ Analyze business processes and supporting systems, developing business cases, and building metrics/reporting. β’ Document and communicate clear functional and system requirements, often creating process-flow diagrams. β’ Work at the intersection of business and technology, representing business requirements during IT system design and modification. β’ Support project management and reporting efforts, liaising with project participants and following up routinely to ensure effective communication and task completion. β’ Interface with IT and various departments to execute cross-functional project requirements. β’ Perform system testing and requirements validation. Manage data sets and perform detailed reporting. β’ Provide training to internal attorneys and staff on new processes or systems as needed. Qualifications β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience successfully managing high-volume billing portfolios and/or financial analysis, preferably within a law firm environment. β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including mastery of VLookup and PivotTable functions. β’ Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, highly organized, and detail-oriented self-starter. β’ Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines. β’ High School Diploma or GED. β’ Ideal candidate will have a Bachelorβs Degree (4-Year) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Business Process Management. β’ Familiarity with Aderant or similar legal billing/financial systems. β’ Proven team player who is self-motivated and willing to take on additional work as needed in a small, fast-paced team environment.
