While 1 in 5 Americans struggle with mental health issues, only 40% of this group received care in the last year. At the same time, only 30% of therapists accept insurance. UpLift acts as the bridge between patient, provider, and insurer ā empowering patients to find the best care for their needs at a price they can afford. Why Join UpLift ā¢ Competitive pay: Earn between $100-$140 per hour, with access to administrative support and a flexible schedule. ā¢ Expand access to care: Provide psychiatric services to individuals who otherwise may not have access to mental healthcare. ā¢ Collaborative model: Work hand-in-hand with UpLift's network of licensed therapists to deliver world-class, evidence-based care. ā¢ All-in-one virtual platform: Focus on your patients ā UpLift handles credentialing, enrollment, and platform operations. ā¢ Work from anywhere: This role is 100% remote, with care delivered via UpLift's purpose-built telemedicine platform. ā¢ Flexible commitment: Part-time, 1099 contract position What You'll Do ā¢ Conduct video consultations and message with patients via telemedicine. ā¢ Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication as clinically appropriate. ā¢ Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with UpLift's network of therapists. ā¢ Provide empathetic, high-quality care and uphold UpLift's clinical and service standards. ā¢ Share product and workflow feedback with UpLift's engineering and operations teams to help improve care delivery. Who We're Looking For ā¢ At least one year of experience as a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or licensed Psychiatrist. ā¢ Active medical license in Washington D.C., in good standing. ā¢ Comfortable prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law. ā¢ Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver virtual care. ā¢ Previous telemedicine experience is a plus. ā¢ Multiple state licenses and fluency in additional languages are strong advantages. Important to Know ā¢ This is a part-time, contract (1099) position ā not a salaried employee role. ā¢ UpLift will credential and enroll you with multiple health plans to expand access to insured patients. ā¢ All care is delivered remotely through UpLift's telehealth platform. ā¢ All clinical decisions are made independently by licensed providers in accordance with state telehealth laws and professional standards.
