Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Habitat for Humanity International is a leading global non-profit organization focused on ensuring everyone has a decent place to live. They are seeking a consultant to lead the development and conduct of a training program on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) in Advocacy, aimed at producing high-quality materials to facilitate effective learning and application. Responsibilities β’ Design an effective training program, complete with all training materials in collaboration with the MEAL Unit and the Urban, Land, and Policy (ULAP) Unit β’ Deliver the MEAL in Advocacy training series through a hybrid approach, comprising virtual sessions and an in-person 3-day workshop to build capacity across different country offices in the region β’ Produce a final report documenting the training process, participant outputs, and recommendations for sustaining MEAL integration in advocacy work β’ Define the structure and modality of the training program based on the needs identified and reference materials provided by the organization β’ Draft training modules and all supplementary materials needed to achieve the training programβs objectives which include (but may not be limited to) creating a curriculum, guidance on training methods, participant workbooks, as well as audio-visual and other aids that integrate adult learning principles and contextual relevance β’ Integrate feedback from key stakeholders (especially from the ULAP Unit and MEAL Unit) into the development and finalization of all materials β’ Facilitate the MEAL in Advocacy training series (both virtual and in-person components) Skills β’ A bachelor's degree in development studies or other related fields of social science is required β’ At least 10 years of proven work experience in capacity development and/or developing training materials for advocacy is required β’ Proficiency in MS Office and MS Teams is required β’ Fluency in the English language is required β’ Ability to work remotely (from any country) is required β’ A master's degree in development studies or other related fields of social science is an asset β’ Familiarity with advocacy work in the Asia-Pacific region is an asset β’ Familiarity with key Monitoring Evaluation, Accountability and Learning concepts and frameworks will be an asset Company Overview β’ Habitat for Humanity provides affordable housing solutions through community partnerships and volunteer efforts.
