Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This is a remote role. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely entry of prescription information. β€’ Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA and other privacy laws. β€’ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy of prescription and patient information. β€’ Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to prescriptions. β€’ Handle calls to and from patients, providers and other pharmacy staff. β€’ Partner with pharmacists for questions about prescriptions. β€’ Meet internal and external KPI’s β€’ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in pharmacy operations and keep license active. β€’ Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: β€’ Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas (Texas State Board of Pharmacy) β€’ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification. β€’ Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy operations, typing prescriptions. β€’ Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and medical terminology. β€’ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. β€’ Proficient in using pharmacy management software and other relevant computer applications. Experience using Lifefile is preferred. β€’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills. β€’ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. β€’ Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security.
