- Write clear, accurate, and engaging news posts, blog articles, and editorial pieces.
- Edit and proofread content, maintaining high editorial standards and consistent style.
- Use AI tools to assist in research, content ideation, and drafting news or blog posts.
- Create visual content and infographics using Canva to complement written articles.
- Manage the blog platform, publishing content and ensuring correct formatting and SEO optimization.
- Conduct media outreach to secure mentions, features, or interviews for the company or leadership.
- Track performance metrics of posts and suggest improvements for engagement, SEO, and outreach strategy.
- Collaborate with the team to plan editorial calendars, content series, and campaign-aligned news coverage.
- Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in journalism, editorial writing, or digital media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong research, fact-checking, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools to create infographics or visuals.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content research, drafting, and ideation.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.) and basic SEO principles.
- Experience with media outreach, PR, or securing online features is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
