Exposure to product development or product management roles in consumer finance, instalment lending, or credit products. Familiarity with merchant integration models, checkout flows, and API-based payment solutions. Role: Product Manager Must have skills: Agile/Scrum, API, Agile methodologies, Jira Key Responsibilities β’ Product Strategy & Roadmap β’ Define and evolve BNPL product vision aligned with business objectives. β’ Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities. β’ Product Development β’ Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver BNPL features. β’ Draft user stories, prioritize backlog, and ensure timely delivery of product milestones. β’ Risk & Compliance β’ Ensure adherence to consumer credit regulations and data privacy laws. β’ Partner with risk teams on credit underwriting, fraud prevention, and collections strategies. β’ Merchant & Customer Experience β’ Optimize checkout flows and merchant integration processes. β’ Drive initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, and repayment experience. β’ Stakeholder Management β’ Act as the BNPL product evangelist across internal teams and external partners. β’ Provide subject matter expertise during client discussions and partnership negotiations. Required Qualifications β’ Experience: 5+ years in BNPL, payments, or consumer lending products. β’ Background: Prior roles at BNPL providers (e.g., Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay) or fintech firms. Skills: β’ Strong understanding of instalment lending mechanics and merchant discount models. β’ Familiarity with API-based payment integrations and e-commerce platforms. β’ Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CFPB, GDPR, PCI-DSS). β’ Tools: Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, API documentation.
