Forensic Accountant / Cash Flow Investigator (Contract) Location: Los Angeles (Remote OK) Job Description We are a long-established valet and parking operations company experiencing ongoing cash-flow shortages despite consistent revenue and minimal owner draw. Payroll is frequently tight, and we need a forensic-level review to understand why. This role is for someone who can dissect bank statements, trace cash movement, and identify where money is leaking, delayed, or misallocated. This is not a bookkeeping or tax prep role. What Youβll Do β’ Analyze bank statements and cash activity in detail β’ Track money in vs. money out on a weekly basis β’ Reconcile deposits against expected revenue β’ Identify timing gaps, structural issues, or cash drains β’ Review payroll funding and payment timing β’ Clearly explain why cash is always short and how to fix it β’ Provide actionable recommendations, not accounting jargon Who Weβre Looking For β’ Background in forensic accounting, cash-flow analysis, or financial investigations β’ Experience diagnosing cash problems in service-based or labor-heavy businesses β’ Comfortable working directly from raw financial data β’ Direct, analytical, and willing to call out uncomfortable truths β’ Able to communicate findings clearly to ownership Engagement Details β’ Type: Contract / Project-based β’ Compensation: Competitive, based on experience β’ Confidentiality: Required How to Apply Please include: β’ Relevant experience with forensic or cash-flow investigations β’ One brief example of a cash-flow issue youβve helped identify or resolve β’ Your availability and fee structure Job Type: Contract Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
