OpTech is seeking for strong Project Co-Ordinator for their Direct Client. Location - Detroit, MI (Remote) Duration - 6 months contract Pay rate - $25/hour on W2 GENERAL SUMMARY: β’ The Project Coordinator duties will be to support the Project Management Office (PMO) and assist project managers in the coordination of processes, administration, reporting, and project execution. β’ The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for managing smaller projects, as assigned. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: β’ Assist the Project Manager and PMO Leadership to ensure project documents are correctly organized and attributed β’ Assist with scheduling deadlines and maintaining project deliverables schedules for multiple projects β’ Assist with subcontractor/vendor process β’ Attend project meetings as needed β’ Coordinate and track internal initiatives for PMO β’ Track project deliverables as they move through the approval process β’ Coordinate small to medium size projects to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards β’ Coordinate application teams and ensure timely execution of the various tasks β’ Coordinate PMO/Project meetings including logistics, conference bridges and distribution lists β’ Document meeting minutes and follow-up on action items Assist PMO with the following process responsibilities, when needed: β’ Time entry training, reporting, and tracking β’ Assist Project Managers to ensure time tracking for resources β’ Process re-engineering (workflows, documentation, training & communication) β’ Provide Portfolio Management support β’ Assist with Portfolio auditing β’ Ensure project baseline has been taken for assigned projects Skills: β’ Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services Must possess the following personal qualities: β’ Be self-directed β’ Be flexible and committed to the team concept β’ Demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and willingness to learn β’ Be open to new learning experiences β’ Accepts and respects diversity without judgment β’ Demonstrates customer service values EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: β’ Associate Degree or higher level of education required, preferably in Project Management or related field β’ Two (2) years of work experience managing projects, SharePoint and MS Server software preferred β’ Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) β’ General accounting principles preferred including understanding Capital and Expense β’ Motivation β Self-motivated, able to complete tasks/assignments under minimal supervision Strong Organization Skills: β’ Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet the weekly schedule of activities with excellent attention to detail β’ Ability to track, prioritize and handle multiple activities with a high degree of interruption OpTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
