Job Description: β’ Execute and oversee core operational workflows, including mint/redemption processing, onboarding, and reconciliations and manage AML and transaction monitoring in partnership with the outsourced AMLRO. Drive continuous process improvement and automation, embedding scalable controls into daily operations. β’ Manage AML and transaction monitoring processes in partnership with the outsourced AMLRO. β’ Translate current operating practices into clear, formal policies, procedures, and control documentation. β’ Partner with Finance, Compliance and Legal on audit readiness, risk assessment, and governance reporting. β’ Contribute to system and process design to ensure operational integrity, audit trails, and reporting functionality. β’ Identify and mitigate non-quantitative risks, maintaining structured risk registers and improvement plans. β’ Support regulatory and audit preparations, maintaining clear documentation and control evidence. β’ Interface externally with auditors, counterparties, and service providers as MXONβs operational and compliance representative. Requirements: β’ 5β8 years of experience in operations, compliance, internal audit, or risk within a regulated financial institution or fintech/crypto organization. β’ Deep understanding of operational processes, embedded controls, and compliance best practices, with a pragmatic drive to refine and scale them. β’ Strong capability in writing and maintaining formal documentation (policies, SOPs, control frameworks). β’ Balanced skill set - able to both execute and design processes with attention to detail and control rigor. β’ Cross-functional collaboration experience across product, engineering, and corporate/control functions (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk) to deliver complex operational initiatives. β’ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - able to navigate between operational detail and strategic discussion, and build alignment with auditors, partners, and customers. β’ Experience in crypto, tokenized finance, or digital assets is a strong plus.
