They are seeking a Director of AI-Powered Learning and Content Strategy to lead the development of institution-level content strategies, AI-native courses, and innovative academic pathways across partner institutions. Responsibilities β’ Institutional Content Strategy and Academic Model Design β’ Build and operationalize content strategies for non-credit and pathway programs for Core partner institutions, aligned to academic goals, market needs, and institutional identity β’ Align for SIS/CRM configuration, financial aid implications, POS management, and non-credit to for-credit scaffolding β’ Define the content architecture (programs β courses β modules β micro-learning β assessments) institutions use to deliver AI-enabled learning β’ Lead content audits, program redesigns, and modernization initiatives across institutions β’ Create a unified, scalable content framework adoptable by faculty and academic teams β’ AI-Native Course Creation and Academic Content Development β’ Lead the development of AI-native courses using generative AI, multimodal platforms, and intelligent learning tools β’ Build institutional pipelines and workflows for AI-assisted content creation, ensuring academic rigor and quality β’ Transform existing institution courses into AI-enhanced, adaptive, high-engagement learning experiences β’ Produce multimodal academic content: simulations, scenarios, conversational AI tutoring, interactive pathways, and AI-generated assessments β’ Instructional Design and AI-Enabled Academic Delivery β’ Design and deploy AI-powered instructional delivery models across institutions, including: β’ Intelligent tutoring systems β’ AI-driven learning assistants β’ Adaptive sequencing engines β’ Automated formative and summative assessment β’ Multimodal instruction β’ Work with Provosts, Deans, faculty, and instructional teams to embed these models into academic operations β’ Lead LMS migration, workflow configuration, and course structure optimization to support AI-enabled instructional delivery and ensure alignment between academic operations and digital learning environments β’ Train and support institutional teams in adopting AI-native instructional design β’ Academic Pathway Innovation β’ Build innovative academic pathways for institutions, such as: β’ Stackable credentials β’ Skills- and competency-aligned pathways β’ Employer-aligned academic routes β’ Accelerated and modular learning tracks β’ Stop-out re-entry pathways enabled by AI audit tools β’ Ensure all academic pathways comply with multi-state regulations, including NC-SARA, licensure alignment, and program determinations β’ Use AI insights to personalize and adapt learning trajectories for diverse student populations β’ Align pathways to outcomes: retention, employability, completion, and cost efficiency β’ AI Learning Technology Partner Leadership β’ Identify, evaluate, and curate strategic partners in AI learning, adaptive engines, courseware technologies, multimodal platforms, and analytics β’ Lead partner selection frameworks, integration plans, and joint product pilots β’ Assist commercial partners in developing and prioritizing short and long-term AI Learning and Student Assistant product roadmaps to meet current and future market needs β’ GTM and Revenue Strategy for AI-Enabled Academic Delivery β’ Build and own GTM strategies for Coreβs AI-powered academic offerings β’ Develop value propositions, packaging, pricing models, and commercialization pathways β’ Work with Revenue, Institutional Partnerships, and Marketing to drive adoption and scale β’ Generate revenue through institutional transformation projects and partner-enabled offerings β’ Serve as the primary solutions architect; demonstrating the products and communicating the best options for meeting customers immediate and planned future needs β’ Cross-Functional Leadership β’ Work across Digital Solutions, Academic Innovation, Revenue Solutions, and Institutional Partnerships to create a unified AI learning ecosystem β’ Develop and support workforce and specialized program offerings for affiliates, including niche certificates, WFD pathways, and early college models requiring tailored curriculum and operational coordination β’ Serve as a strategic advisor to Provosts, Deans, CIOs, CHROs, and faculty champions β’ Represent Core as a thought leader in AI-based academic delivery and the future of learning β’ Serve as a senior external face for Core with presidents, boards, and sector partners Skills β’ 10+ years in instructional design, learning strategy, academic innovation, or digital learning product development β’ Demonstrated experience designing academic content strategies for institutions or large-scale learning organizations β’ Deep experience with generative AI, adaptive learning technologies, and AI-powered content creation β’ Strong background in curriculum design, learning science, pedagogy, and institutional academic operations β’ Experience evaluating, selecting, and integrating learning technologies and platforms β’ Commercial mindset with experience contributing to GTM strategies, revenue models, or product launches β’ Experience in working with alliance partners to collaboratively develop products and joint GTM strategies β’ Executive presence with the ability to build trust and influence Provosts, Deans, CIOs, faculty, and institutional leadership β’ Preferred, but not required, experience in Sales, Product Demonstrations, Solution Architecting Company Overview β’ Core Education is an organization with the goal of assisting small and mid-sized institutions by providing creative shared services.
