This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, District of Columbia (USA), Washington (USA) Position Overview: Our client, a leader in custom packaging solutions for Retail, Health Care, and Food markets, seeks a highly motivated Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. With a primary focus on custom thermoforming of trays, clamshells, and blisters, graphics cards and industry-leading heat-seal equipment, the Sales Representative will play a crucial role in improving market share and profitability. Requirements: β€’ Experience: β€’ Minimum of 10 years in the packaging industry. β€’ Custom Thermoforming Trays, Clamshells, and Blister Packaging experience is REQUIRED. β€’ Sales Skills: β€’ Demonstrated track record of securing new customers. β€’ Proven ability to expand share within existing customers. β€’ Understanding and capability of implementing value-based comparative selling strategies. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Business Development: β€’ Actively seek new business opportunities for profitable growth. β€’ Identify potential opportunities from marketing leads, cold calls, and other sources. β€’ Conduct market analysis within the assigned territory. β€’ Prospecting and Sales: β€’ Rigorously prospect and follow leads to secure new business. β€’ Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations. β€’ Participate in trade show activities. β€’ Customer Relationship Management: β€’ Develop key relationships with existing customers and prospects. β€’ Proactively manage customer projects to ensure satisfaction. β€’ Collaboration and Planning: β€’ Collaborate across internal functions for customer satisfaction and business growth. β€’ Develop and implement account and territory plans to increase sales. β€’ Manage administrative aspects, including quoting, forecasting, and budgeting. β€’ Sales Pipeline Management: β€’ Maintain an updated and accurate sales funnel through CRM. β€’ Develop and maintain a Margin Improvement funnel. β€’ Travel: β€’ Manage territory travel to optimize customer interaction. Location: Flexible, can be located in any major Metropolitan area. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline. Experience and Skills: β€’ Minimum of 10 years of packaging industry experience within thermoforming. β€’ Solid understanding of key drivers in the packaging environment. β€’ Demonstrated ability to develop product and price positioning strategies. β€’ Proven track record of securing new customers and expanding share. β€’ Capability of implementing value-based comparative selling strategies. β€’ Experience developing corporate-level relationships. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. β€’ Strong analytical skills for addressing profit levers. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Strong negotiation and presentation skills. β€’ Frequent travel is required.
