SDG Group is expanding its global Data & Analytics practice and is seeking a motivated Data Analytics Engineer with 2 to 6 yearsof experience in DataOps. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with either Databricks or Snowflake, alongside solid understanding of modern cloud data platforms and best practices in data engineering. This role offers a full-time employment contract in USD, allowing remote work on international projects aligned with the European working week (Monday to Friday). Key Responsibilities β’ Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines following DataOps best practices β’ Work with modern cloud data stacks using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) or Snowflake (Snow pipe, tasks, streams) β’ Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Python, SQL, and orchestration tools β’ Work with Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL, Azure Functions) β’ Implement CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or Git-based workflows β’ Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all delivered data solutions β’ Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines for performance and operational excellence β’ Collaborate with international teams, architects, and analytics consultants β’ Contribute to technical documentation and solution design assets Required Skills & Qualifications β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field β’ Hands-on experience in DataOps / Data Engineering β’ Strong knowledge in Databricks OR Snowflake (one of them is mandatory) β’ Proficiency in Python and SQL β’ Experience with Azure data ecosystem (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, etc.) β’ Understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps for data. β’ Knowledge of data modeling, orchestration frameworks, and monitoring tools β’ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills β’ Eagerness to learn and grow in a global consulting environment Nice to Have β’ Experience with Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, or Lakehouse concepts β’ Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Qlick) β’ Exposure to Agile / Scrum frameworks β’ Relevant certifications (Azure Data Engineer, Databricks, Snowflake) What We Offer β’ Remote working model aligned with international project needs β’ Full-time employment contract with a USD-based compensation package β’ Opportunity to work on European and global engagements β’ Mentorship and growth paths within SDG Group β’ A dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment β’ Access to world-class training and learning platforms Apply tot his job
