Blue Wheel is a digital ad agency seeking a strategic and technically skilled Senior Marketing Analyst to join their marketing analytics team. The role focuses on data-driven marketing, analyzing campaign performance, and leveraging Amazon Marketing Cloud to provide insights that drive performance across various digital channels. Responsibilities β’ Analyze campaign performance across digital channels to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities β’ Conduct deep-dive analyses using AMC to support marketing strategy and performance optimization β’ Collaborate with account managers and strategists to define KPIs and solve client-specific marketing challenges β’ Lead complex analyses and develop predictive models to forecast marketing outcomes β’ Deliver strategic insights that influence campaign direction and client strategy β’ Leverage AMC's SQL-based environment to extract, transform, and analyze audience and campaign data β’ Build custom queries to understand customer journeys, media exposure, and conversion paths β’ Create audiences based on client needs and data trends β’ Develop AMC dashboards and reporting templates to visualize performance and attribution β’ Stay current with AMC feature updates and best practices to maximize platform value β’ Partner with media teams to translate AMC insights into actionable recommendations β’ Serve as the day-to-day analytics lead for assigned clients, managing cross-departmental communication β’ Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders β’ Create dashboards and reports that effectively communicate campaign performance and customer behavior β’ Provide constructive feedback to junior analysts and communicate roadblocks or deadline risks to leadership β’ Ensure timely delivery of recurring reports and ad hoc analyses β’ Maintain accuracy and consistency in data handling and reporting β’ Follow established processes and escalate issues when necessary β’ Take ownership of analytics tasks from start to finish, ensuring compliance with data privacy and governance policies β’ Mentor junior analysts and support project coordination β’ Participate in team reviews and retrospectives to refine data approaches and improve reporting accuracy Skills β’ Strong understanding of marketing metrics and their business impact β’ Experience with AMC and other clean rooms β’ Proficiency in: SQL, Python/R β’ Advanced Excel β’ Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Qlik) β’ Ad Servers, Marketing Automation Tools β’ Web Analytics, Paid Media, Social, Retail Data β’ Familiarity with campaign tagging, UTM tracking, and attribution modeling β’ Experience supporting A/B testing, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling β’ Years of experience: 5+ β’ Growth mindset and eagerness to learn from peers and mentors β’ Ability to provide and receive feedback constructively β’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail β’ Bachelors Degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science Company Overview β’ Blue Wheel is an omni-channel marketing and operational partner delivering excellence in digital commerce -- from click to ship.
