About the position The Part-Time Property Manager at L. Upshaw Property Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, including single-family homes and multi-unit buildings. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and homeowners, ensuring a high level of service and compliance with property regulations. Responsibilities β’ Oversee property maintenance, including coordinating repairs and routine inspections. β’ Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants or homeowners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. β’ Enforce property policies and regulations to maintain a safe and pleasant environment. β’ Manage tenant applications, lease agreements, and renewals (if applicable). β’ Collect rent or HOA fees and maintain accurate financial records. β’ Collaborate with vendors and contractors for services such as landscaping, cleaning, and maintenance. β’ Ensure compliance with local property management regulations and laws. Requirements β’ Proven experience in property management or a related field preferred. β’ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. β’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. β’ Familiarity with property management software or willingness to learn. β’ Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws or HOA regulations is a plus. β’ Reliable transportation and ability to visit the property as needed.
