UES is a national leader in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing and inspection, seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist III. This senior-level recruiting professional will lead complex hiring initiatives and partner with hiring managers to ensure strategic alignment and exceptional talent outcomes. Responsibilities β’ Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for critical, niche, or executive-level roles across business units β’ Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to forecast hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with workforce planning goals β’ Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs and hard-to-fill positions β’ Guide hiring managers in role definition, job description creation, interview planning, and candidate evaluation β’ Leverage advanced sourcing techniques and talent marketing to attract diverse, qualified candidates β’ Champion inclusive hiring practices and partner with the CoE to support DEI talent acquisition strategies β’ Collaborate with the TA CoE to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local hiring laws, and internal policy standards β’ Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement β’ Mentor and coach junior recruiters and HR team members on recruiting strategies, systems, and tools β’ Serve as a knowledge resource for ATS use, compliance processes, and TA technology enhancements β’ Support the implementation of recruiting initiatives and process improvements rolled out by the enterprise TA function Skills β’ High school diploma or equivalent required β’ Minimum of 7 years of progressive recruiting experience, including experience with complex or specialized roles β’ Strong knowledge of recruiting compliance, interview structuring, and candidate assessment methodologies β’ Demonstrated success in supporting multiple business units and navigating matrixed or decentralized organizations β’ Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools β’ Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consultative skills β’ Strong analytical and organizational skills; experience using data to drive decision-making and improve outcomes β’ Ability to coach and mentor others while influencing recruiting best practices across a broader HR team β’ Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally for hiring events or strategic meetings β’ Associate's or Bachelor's degree β’ Experience with Workday, iCIMS, or Greenhouse β’ Bilingual language skills desirable but not required Company Overview β’ UES provides personalized engineering, environmental, testing and inspection services to clients across the United States.
