Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking an Account Consultant IV for TPA Operations. This role is responsible for renewing and growing a complex book of business, driving revenue, and managing relationships to ensure success with various insurance products. Responsibilities β’ Ensures that each assigned account renews annually and aggressively pursues growth within groups by developing and implementing account specific benefit and financial strategies β’ Manages and develops a set of assigned accounts to increase productivity and sales of products, as well as identifies potential customers and sets approach strategies β’ Develops strong and long-term client relationships β’ Takes ownership of territory team initiatives and ensures deadlines are met β’ Resolves issues and handles client complaints quickly and effectively β’ Gets feedback and suggests ways to increase customer engagement Skills β’ CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN THE MD, DC, VA AREA IN ORDER TO TRAVEL INTO THE OFFICES AND FOR CLIENT MEETINGS AND STAFF MEETINGS β’ CURRENT HEALTH & LIFE LICENSE IS REQUIRED β’ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience β’ Current health and life license for the jurisdictions of Maryland, DC, and Virginia β’ 10 years of healthcare sales experience β’ Experience in a similar sales position with a competitor or another Blue Cross Blue Shield plan β’ TPA experience Benefits β’ Comprehensive benefits package β’ Various incentive programs/plans β’ 401k contribution programs/plans Company Overview β’ CareFirst.
