We are seeking a seasoned Construction Forensics Expert to lead investigations, analyze critical issues, and provide insightful recommendations in a fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal in identifying construction defects, performing comprehensive evaluations, and supporting litigation and insurance claims through detailed reporting and expert witness testimony. Responsibilities β’ Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of construction concerns and problems, including active or completed construction projects. β’ Perform on-site investigations, review contracts and legal documents, and meticulously report findings. β’ Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims. β’ Develop and present clear, concise, and defensible opinions regarding construction defects. β’ Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes. β’ Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, building codes, and relevant regulations. Requirements β’ Professional Engineer (PE) license or General Contractor (GC) license. β’ Extensive experience in construction forensics, defect consulting, and related fields. β’ Proven track record in litigation support, expert witness testimony, and insurance claim resolution. β’ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. β’ Ability to conduct physical presence and capability in Idaho is required. β’ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously. β’ Commitment to supporting the growth and development of the business.
