JSR Tech Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Analytics Programmer/Data Scientist to design, automate, and maintain data pipelines while delivering actionable insights in the healthcare sector. The role involves managing large datasets, performing advanced analytics, and supporting real-world evidence initiatives. Responsibilities β’ Design, build, and automate scalable data pipelines integrating multiple first-, second-, and third-party data sources β’ Manage large datasets using SQL, Python, R, and cloud or database platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Linux environments) β’ Implement data validation, quality checks, documentation, and reproducible workflows β’ Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of data infrastructure β’ Perform statistical analysis, modeling, and machine learning to support business, clinical, and market access decisions β’ Apply techniques such as regression, survival analysis, longitudinal analysis, and predictive modeling β’ Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for decision-makers β’ Support ad-hoc analytical requests and recurring reporting needs β’ Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Dash, or Shiny β’ Design KPI frameworks, metrics definitions, and automated reporting pipelines β’ Present insights to technical and non-technical audiences β’ Support real-world evidence generation, observational studies, and outcomes research β’ Assist with cohort definition, analytical plans, data extraction, and interpretation of results β’ Collaborate with clinical, medical, market access, and research teams β’ Own analytics projects end-to-end: scoping, timelines, execution, risk identification, and delivery β’ Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and prioritize work β’ Provide mentorship or technical guidance to junior analysts when needed Skills β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field (PhD or PharmD a plus) β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering β’ Strong programming skills in Python and/or R β’ Advanced SQL experience working with large relational datasets β’ Experience building automated data pipelines and production workflows β’ Strong statistical foundation (regression, modeling, inference, visualization) β’ Experience developing dashboards and reports (Tableau, Power BI, Dash, Shiny, etc.) β’ Ability to communicate technical results clearly to business and clinical stakeholders β’ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills β’ Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, HEOR, RWE, or life sciences analytics β’ Cloud and data platform experience (AWS, Snowflake, Linux servers) β’ Familiarity with SAS, Spark, or big data tools β’ Experience supporting observational studies or real-world data analysis β’ Exposure to machine learning workflows and model deployment β’ Client-facing or stakeholder management experience Company Overview β’ JSR Tech Consulting provides contract consulting services for business and technology leaders in financial services.
