Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Flux is developing the first AI Hardware Engineer to revolutionize how electronics are designed and built. As a Senior Software Engineer, Agentic Development, you will build intelligent workflows and integrations to help users create manufacturable hardware and learn from past production experiences. Responsibilities β’ Develop agentic reasoning capabilities in TypeScript (LangGraph) β’ Integrate AI behaviors into the Flux web app (React/Redux) and Chat UI β’ Instrument telemetry and logging for runtime health, performance, and cost tracking β’ Collaborate with product and electrical engineers to shape intelligent ECAD workflows β’ Build and analyze evals; translate data into engineering decisions β’ Actively shape agentic patterns, conventions, and best practices for the broader engineering org Skills β’ 8+ years of software-engineering experience; 1+ years developing generative-AI or agentic systems β’ Strong command of TypeScript, React, and Node.js β’ Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent orchestration frameworks β’ Demonstrated success building asynchronous, distributed systems in production β’ Experience integrating LLM-based systems into complex user-facing web products β’ Excellent communicator comfortable in a fully remote, async team β’ Experience at a startup or in 0β1 product environments β’ Experience with retrieval systems, evaluation pipelines, or agent benchmarking β’ Contributions to open-source AI/developer tools projects β’ Familiarity with hardware design or ECAD concepts β’ Background in applied ML, data-driven experimentation, or NLP β’ Experience with distributed highly available systems that operate at significant scale Company Overview β’ Flux develops a collaborative, in-browser, AI Hardware Engineer.
