Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WEL COMPANIES INC is seeking an experienced In-House Freight Broker / Account Manager with an established book of business. The role involves managing and growing personal accounts while leveraging internal support teams and operational tools to scale profitably. Responsibilities β’ Manage and grow a personal book of business within our in-house brokerage model β’ Own customer relationships end-to-end, including: β’ Spot market pricing and bidding β’ Contracted freight opportunities and RFP participation β’ Load execution, coverage, and service performance β’ Source and negotiate with qualified carriers to ensure: β’ Coordinate closely with internal operations, customer service, and asset-based teams β’ Track performance metrics including revenue, margin, and service KPIs β’ Identify opportunities to shift freight into committed or repeat lanes β’ Maintain accurate system documentation and load tracking Skills β’ Established, transferable book of business ( required ) β’ Minimum 3β5 years experience in freight brokerage or logistics sales β’ Proven ability to: Price freight effectively β’ Proven ability to: Secure capacity β’ Proven ability to: Protect and grow margin β’ Strong understanding of spot vs. contract freight strategies β’ Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability and ownership β’ Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team structure Benefits β’ Medical β’ Dental β’ Vision β’ 401(k) β’ PTO Company Overview β’ WEL Companies is a transportation company providing temperature-controlled warehouse and transportation services.
