They are seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to lead strategic accounts and design, implement, and operate cloud solutions that meet customer needs for scalability, compliance, reliability, security, and performance. Responsibilities β’ Engage directly with customers at the Director/CIO/CTO level, supporting executive briefings and innovation partnerships β’ Working with Quisitive AMS Ops team and Clientβs Ops Support team(s) to achieve defined objectives and metrics β’ Define architectural and operational roadmaps including Cloud Adoption, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Compliance, and Security β’ Develop a deep understanding of how our customers use the Azure platform, their cloud adoption position, and their use of compute, storage, database, network and modern workloads β’ Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements β’ Create and review Azure architecture and solution design artifacts β’ Drive strategic and complex projects, with executive visibility and many critical dependencies β’ Manage processes related to modernization, architecture, disaster recovery and business transformation β’ Identify, communicate and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues and decisions throughout the project lifecycle β’ Comfort with tooling and developing specialized solutions for customers β’ Assessing on-premise and Cloud infrastructure to capture current operating costs and propose future improvements to customer technical and business teams β’ Providing guidance and mentoring to your peers and less senior consultants β’ Assist with development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures to improve client support processes and experience β’ Assist with day to day operations as well as larger initiatives Skills β’ Heavy involvement with customer architecture including the following: β’ Engage directly with customers at the Director/CIO/CTO level, supporting executive briefings and innovation partnerships β’ Working with Quisitive AMS Ops team and Client's Ops Support team(s) to achieve defined objectives and metrics β’ Define architectural and operational roadmaps including Cloud Adoption, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Compliance, and Security β’ Develop a deep understanding of how our customers use the Azure platform, their cloud adoption position, and their use of compute, storage, database, network and modern workloads β’ Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements β’ Create and review Azure architecture and solution design artifacts β’ Drive strategic and complex projects, with executive visibility and many critical dependencies β’ Manage processes related to modernization, architecture, disaster recovery and business transformation β’ Identify, communicate and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues and decisions throughout the project lifecycle β’ Comfort with tooling and developing specialized solutions for customers β’ Assessing on-premise and Cloud infrastructure to capture current operating costs and propose future improvements to customer technical and business teams β’ Providing guidance and mentoring to your peers and less senior consultants β’ Assist with development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures to improve client support processes and experience β’ Assist with day to day operations as well as larger initiatives β’ Deep Understanding of Azure Infrastructure as a Service β Compute, Storage, Network, Data, Firewall β’ Deep Understanding of Azure Policy β’ Deep Understanding of Microsoft Defender for Cloud β’ Deep Understanding of Log Analytics/Azure Monitor β’ Deep Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID β’ Overall understanding of key concepts of Azure β’ Overall understanding of Identity and access management β’ Overall understanding of Security and Compliance β’ Overall understanding of Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Container Registry, Azure Synapse β’ Required: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate. A willingness to obtain these in the first month will be accepted β’ Platform as a Service β Databrick, Fabric β’ Infrastructure as Code β Bicep, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager Templates, Azure Custom Policies β’ Azure DevOps β’ Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM toolsets β’ Experience with IT Consulting β’ Experience with large IT operations β’ Nice to have: Microsoft Certified β Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Company Overview β’ Microsoft technology consulting.
