A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced RN specializing in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing to provide exceptional care within a dynamic inpatient setting. This travel position offers the chance to support patients with multiple co-morbidities, including a focus on stroke (neuro) care, at a respected regional medical center. Key Qualifications and Experience β’ Minimum of 2 years of relevant registered nursing experience β’ Current BLS and NIH certifications required β’ Proficient in EPIC electronic health records system β’ Telemetry expertise, including remote monitoring experience; on-unit monitoring preferred β’ Skilled in feeding tube care, port access, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, PICC line care, and IV starts β’ Knowledge of CVA care, nasal cannula use, isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac management β’ Comfortable managing a nursing ratio of approximately 1:5-6 β’ Flexibility to float across multiple facilities within the healthcare system Schedule/Hours β’ 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7:30 AM) β’ Every other week (EOW) coverage, including holidays as needed Location Highlights: High Point, NC High Point is a vibrant city in North Carolina known for its rich history, thriving furniture industry, and cultural attractions.
