CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Developer (AWS) to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This role requires an innovative and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with designers, back-end engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable digital solutions. With the requirement of a security clearance, CALIBRE will not be offering sponsorship for this position.

Salary for this position is $165K-185K.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing and maintaining front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Designing and implementing scalable, reliable solutions using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, DynamoDB, and others.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy features.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to team members using Git.
  • Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and other DevOps tools.
  • Applying secure coding practices and documentation standards.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Working with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end languages (C#, Python, .NET).
  • Sustaining the end-state solution through continued AWS-based development.

Required Skills

    Required Skills:
  • Ability to develop reusable patterns using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, including Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.
  • Strong experience developing in an AWS cloud environment.
  • Proficiency with server-side languages (C#, Python, .NET).
  • Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
  • Database management experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration and application refactoring.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Jira.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Basic working knowledge (i.e. ability to understand, speak about, and participate in solutioning) of the following domains: data science, the software development life cycle, data privacy (specifically PII/PHI), Federal data policies, the Tricare Military Health System

Required Experience

    Required Experience:
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in building large-scale software applications.
  • At least 1 year of experience developing serverless applications in AWS.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Federal agencies (preferably healthcare and/or data-centric projects)
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Active Secret Clearance at the Department of Defense (or eligibility to obtain a clearance)
  • Ability to work east coast business hours (8am-5pm)
  • Active Security+ Certification
  • Must hold at least one AWS Technical Certification, such as:

o AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate (PREFERRED)

o AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate

o AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

o AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate

o AWS Certified Developer – Associate

o AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

o AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

o AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty

o AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty

o AWS Certified Security – Specialty
