Job Title: Python Engineer Google Cloud Platform (Python & React)
Location: Richardson, TX preferred but REMOTE OK
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust backend services, APIs, and automation pipelines using Python.
- Design and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines, ETL workflows, and event-driven services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment automation using Google Cloud Platform-native or third-party tools.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot applications running in Google Cloud Platform and containerized environments.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, data engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
- Ensure best practices for cloud security, reliability, logging, and performance tuning.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience developing applications using Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Proficiency with key Google Cloud Platform services: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, IAM.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
