We are an IT Services HUBZone company with a focus on Fed/Civ and DoW clients and we are seeking a hands‑on Fractional CFO. This is a fractional engagement (approximately 5-30 hours per month. This role is execution‑oriented and focused on strengthening financial discipline while supporting strategic decision‑making.
- This is not an advisory‑only role. The CFO must be comfortable working directly with financial data, accounting partners, and leadership to improve visibility, cash management, and operational rigor.Key Responsibilities
- Perform short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting and burn management
- Clean up financials and improve monthly close discipline
- Work directly with the company CPA to ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and timely
- Establish and maintain EBITDA and management-adjusted EBITDA reporting
- Prepare and present Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual financial reports to leadership (CEO and COO)
- Support DCAA audit readiness
- Evaluate and advise on DCAA-compliant timekeeping systems
- Support strategic planning initiatives and KPI dashboard development
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable guidance for leadership Qualifications Required:
- Direct experience in government contracting
- Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Fractional CFO
- Exposure to DCAA-compliant accounting environments
- Experience with labor and timekeeping systems used in Government Contracting
- Comfortable working in a fractional, hands-on engagement model
