Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and support Oracle-based applications and database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and data modeling, and will work closely with business analysts and application teams to deliver high-quality, scalable database solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views
- Write and optimize SQL queries for high performance and scalability
- Perform performance tuning using EXPLAIN PLAN, AWR, and SQL Trace
- Develop and support data models, schemas, and database objects
- Work with application teams to integrate Oracle databases with front-end and middleware systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Oracle databases
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support data migration, ETL processes, and reporting solutions
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams for deployments and releases
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c (or newer)
- Experience with data modeling and database design
- Knowledge of indexes, partitions, and materialized views
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
