- Lead and execute supplier work transfer initiatives (make vs. buy, supplier-to-supplier, and strategic sourcing transfers) across global regions, ensuring continuity of supply, cost, quality, and delivery.
- Support and drive procurement strategies aligned with Oxygen and Lighting business objectives within the Interiors portfolio.
- Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, including RFQs, negotiations, cost accountability and/or program execution.
- Approves and qualifies vendors to fulfill account needs; responds to client issues or problems.
- Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
- Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
- Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.
- Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family.
- Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost.
- May perform delivery assurance responsibilities for critical parts.
- Participate in C.O.R.E./Continuous Improvement events and activities such as Value Stream Mapping or Kaizen Events.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or a Master’s Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience is required.
- Project management certification or 5 years prior proven experience leading a project management function or team
- Experience with Supply Chain processes and supplier interface
- Understanding of contract structures, business terms and conditions.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven experience of strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Office applications
- MRP/ERP systems experience
- Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time.
