As a key member of our Client Information Items Group, you'll play a critical role in leading our data operations efforts, working closely with various technology teams to investigate and remediate stage and data quality issues, and driving the development of new tools and processes to improve our production support capabilities.

  • *In This Job, You Will**
  • Lead production support activities for a suite of data analysis tools used to support internal banking operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot production issues affecting our client data analysis platform.
  • Analyze complex technical tasks challenges within a large data environment, requiring in-depth assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead research and create reports on ongoing production changes and present findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement new process improvements and stage enhancements to drive business value.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with internal teams and ensure communication and reporting of deliverables from offshore teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement, including designing new processes and identifying new opportunities.
  • Contribute to the establishment of performance metrics for the team and ensure tasks meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of tasks, focusing on strategies, techniques, and work standards to ensure a successful outcome; redesigning and driving consistent process improvement.
  • Lead teams to meet time constraints and drive new initiatives.
  • Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members to resolve issues and achieve technology mandates.
  • Serve as a mentor to peers.
  • *Required Capabilities**
  • 3+ years of experience in data operations, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Strong understanding of large data lake environments and data operations principles.
  • Experience working with ETL, data warehouse, and data analysis tools on large data engineering platforms, such as Hadoop.
  • 2+ years of experience using a combination of the following tools: HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk.
  • Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB.
  • *Wanted Capabilities**
  • 3+ years of experience supporting large data environments.
  • Experience working with data integration tools, such as ETL and data warehousing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop team members.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
