This role involves overseeing the delivery of a modern Electric Service Request Application and ensuring smooth integrations across various systems while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across planning, execution, and closeout
- Manage vendor-led system implementations and system integrators
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and change management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, OT, cybersecurity, and customer operations
- Manage integrations with GIS, Work & Asset Management, and Customer Billing systems
- Drive testing phases (SIT, UAT), cutover planning, and operational readiness
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Skills
- 7+ years of Project Management experience
- Utility industry experience supporting customer-facing application platforms
- Experience with electric service request systems or DER interconnection processes
- Proven success managing vendor-led system implementations and complex integrations
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
